Dark Souls has officially been renamed from Project Dark, and game director Hidetaka Miyazaki has already stated that they're looking to throw down the gauntlet.
Speaking to Famitsu, Miyazaki said "The difficulty has been increased greatly over Demon's Souls."
Certainly a daunting statement for many gamers out there, but who doesn't love a challenge, right? Miyazaki also stated that the game has no real relation to Demon's Souls in terms of story or setting and that there will be no jobs or character classes. He wants to remove systems where play-styles are enforced.
