Killzone 3 is releasing shortly and it'll be the first hardcore first-person shooter on the PS3 to support Sony's PlayStation Move technology. However, according to Tommy de Roos of Guerilla, this won't be uncommon in a few years.
Speaking to CVG, de Roos, who's one of Killzone 3's principal programmers, said "I think, as this develops [using motion controllers], in a few years most of the first-person-shooters will be played like this. I really think so. Maybe not the Move specifically but a pointing controller like this."
We've already seen many first-person shooters work reasonably well on the Nintendo Wii, but can PlayStation Move help to push it on even further? We've also not seen how developers will utilise Kinect. Interesting times ahead.
