Carpe Fulgur's Chantelise Hopefully Coming This April

Carpe Fulgur, the group behind the extremely successful localization of Recettear, has given word that their next title, Chantelise, may be coming as soon as the end of April to fans outside Japan.

The game is a third-person action adventure game in which two sisters, Chante and Elise, are out to find a witch whose curse turned Chante into a fairy. It plays like a typical hack-and-slash game, similarly to well-known games such as those in the Ys series, except that you "level up" by upgrading your equipment as you progress through the game.

The team's lead, SpaceDrake, mentions that the date isn't set in stone, but they're trying their hardest to meet it. If Recettear's localization is anything to go by, Chantelise should be well-worth the purchase.
