Despite the events that took place in Japan earlier this month, organisers for the Tokyo Game Show aren't thinking about cancelling the Tokyo Game Show 2011. However, they are contemplating downsizing the show.
Japan is rumoured to be facing energy shortages for around six months, while the damaged nuclear reactors are fixed. If the Tokyo Game Show was in full effect, it would cause a serious drain on the country's power.
A spokesman for the convention said: "Currently, we are not thinking of cancelling or making the show smaller. Depending on the situation from here on out, it is possible that the show is reduced."
This year's Tokyo Game Show is planned to take place from the 15th of September to the 18th of September.
