Ubisoft Granted Injunction Against THQ's Talent Stealing

Ubisoft has scored a victory over THQ by landing an injunction which will prevent them from illicitly pulling talent away from any of its studios in Canada.

It was revealed last year by THQ executive Danny Bilson that former Ubisoft employee and Assassin's Creed creator, Patrice Désilets, had helped in the recruiting of talent from Ubisoft.

Désilets will be starting up a new studio on behalf of THQ called THQ Toronto, but had told Ubisoft he wanted a break from the industry. He's been given the brief of creating brand new, triple A games.
