Homefront has gone straight in at the top of the UK video games sales charts, which are compiled by Chart Track. This will be a huge boost for THQ, as it has released amidst some tough competition.
Indeed, this week actually saw a significant decline in the sales of other leading first-person shooters. Both Call of Duty: Black Ops and Bulletstorm fell outside of the Top 10, while Killzone 3 appeared in 9th.
Elsewhere, 2K Games' Top Spin 4 debuted in 13th, and Sega's Shogun 2: Total War appeared in 4th - a great result for the PC exclusive title.
