Imageepoch CEO Ryoei Mikage was recently quoted by Famitsu, revealing at a Shinjuku event that the studio has many more titles under development. Their first title, Final Promise Story, hits stores in Japan next week.
Mikage didn't go into details, but in addition to Final Promise Story, Black Rock Shooter and Chevalier Saga Tactics, as well as the mysterious Type-Moon X Imageepoch project, it looks like the Japanese dev has another ten more titles still to come.
Final Promise Story is a JRPG described to be as hard and challenging as 80s PC games. Characters do die, but in a pretty interesting manner. Characters can lose all their HP, but won't die until their SP is entirely depleted, and before their final death, characters can unleash a sacrifice ability called the Miracle of Illia, dealing massive damage to enemies, thus making their deaths mean something. You can see it in action in the video below,
Imageepoch and NIS America had recently announced a partnership to publish their games in the West, although no specific title was mentioned. Hopefully we'll see as many of Imageepoch's titles as possible.
