PSN Update: Will There Be Goodwill Gestures? Sony Says Yes

While Sony are aggressively tracking down the culprit for bringing down PSN and compromising customer information, the electronics giant assures users that they will be doing something in thanks for their "extraordinary patience" on the matter.

"We are currently evaluating ways to show appreciation for your extraordinary patience as we work to get these services back online," wrote Patrick Seybold, Sony's Senior Director of Corporate Communications.

In addition, Sony Online Entertainment assures DC Universe and Free Realms players that they can expect a "make good" plan and plenty of promotional events once PSN is restored.
