Uncharted 3 is set to take the connection between social networking and gaming one step further by directly utilising both Facebook and YouTube in its multiplayer component.
When launching the game, players will be able to view a feed that will show which of their Facebook friends are on the PlayStation Network, while also showing them any videos/updates that have been posted.
Naughty Dog's co-founder Christophe Balestra said: "I don't think anyone else has gone to that level to bring Facebook within the game. People usually do it the other way around. We are the first ones who are doing this."
You'll also be able to invite Facebook friends to your party, and post video clips of up to 90 seconds. You'll be able to add voice to a character, move the camera how you want and share it, so a friend can help with the editing of the video. Naughty Dog are also planning to make Uncharted TV, which will play on the game's menu, and will showcase the best user generated videos.
