Canadian Firm Launches $1 Billion Lawsuit Against Sony

Following the news of a US-based firm going to court with Sony, a Canadian law firm has decided that they too will file a class-action suit against Sony.

The suit has been filed by Ontario-based Natasha Maksimovic, who is demanding $1 billion for Canadian citizens who have been affected by the data breach - she is being represented by McPhadden Samac Tuovi.

The suit is against Sony Japan, Sony USA, Sony Canada and many other Sony entities - presumably even Sony Online Entertainment. They have 20 days to issue a defence.
