Unlike certain game developers (i.e. Team Ninja), IO Interactive and Square Enix are taking a different approach towards difficulty levels in Hitman: Absolution.
According to the director, Tore Blystad, the developers are looking to make the game less "hardcore" compared to its predecessors; something which made the original series special to many of its fans. Blystad believes that the steep learning curve stunted the game's sales.
Although Blystad insists that the game will still have some of it's hardcore edge, will it be enough to keep dedicated Hitman fans thirsty for more? Hitman: Absolution's projected release date is some time next year, so expect more information coming about this game during E3 2011.
