The hardware specs for Nintendo's Project Cafe have apparently leaked. The specs were dug up by a NeoGAF member, revealing some interesting tit bits about Nintendo's next-gen system.
The new system will house a custom AMD RV770 graphics chip and a custom IBM Power 6 CPU. It's got 512MB of RAM for memory and either 250GB or 320GB for storage.
Surprisingly, the hardware supposedly uses Blu-ray, which fits the description of Nintendo's disc-based solution which earlier reports claim to offer 25GB of storage. It's also backwards compatible with the Wii Optical Disc and Gamecube Game Discs.
The million dollar question, however, is if this is indeed real. It's not uncommon for things like these to leak prior to E3. We'll find out next week.
