The Uncharted 3 online multiplayer beta is coming up soon "” by the end of the June, in fact. Here's the dirty on what will be playable when the beta finally hits. If you aren't aware, players with a code from inFamous 2 or a PS Plus subscription will be able to join in the fun early on June 28 while those without can hop in on July 4. The beta will run until July 13.

So what's in the beta? Looks like there'll be nine playable modes: Team Deathmatch, 3-Team Deathmatch, Team Objective, Free for All, Plunder, High Stakes and three co-op modes that will be detailed later this week.

Team deathmatch, Team Objective and Plunder are quite self-explanatory for fans familiar with Uncharted 2's multiplayer while 3-Team Deathmatch will pit three teams of two against each other; High Stakes will have you gamble away your XP and cash.

As for maps, there are two: the airfield and the French chateau. Each has their own "dynamic events" like attacking planes and collapsing structures.

New to Uncharted 3's multiplayer is also the power plays which give the losing team a chance to make a comeback. Power plays last a minute and there will be four included in the beta: Marked Man, Cursed, Exposed and Double Damage.

Marked Man marks a player on the winning team for assassination. Killing him will earn the losing team 3 points while the winning team earns double cash for each kill on the losing team. They'll also earn a special medal if the Marked Man lives.

Cursed sounds rather interesting. The winning team will only see players as generic skeletons and friendly fire is turned on. Losing team gets two points if they get a kill or if the winning team kills a friendly. Winning team also gets double cash for each member of the losing team that they kill.

Exposed reveals the winning team members' locations and Double Damage has the losing team doling out, well, double damage. Winning team earns double cash for every kill in both plays.

There are also a whole ton of boosters and Medal Kickbacks that range from making you invisible on the radar to reducing your spawn time. There are also plenty of weapons and mods available.
