For a game that's been in development since 2007, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet doesn't show a bit of age. In fact, the game is absolutely stunning to look at, and is going to be a part of Xbox's upcoming 2011 Summer of Arcade. It's been a long time coming, but at the very least it looks as if none of that time was wasted in terms of development quality.
There's no reason to remotely pretend like I know what the plot is about, but any game that's a mixture of spaceships, Metroid, and Tim Burton really can't be that bad. If nothing else the boss fights look positively epic, but it's best to check the trailer below and judge for yourself.
