Sega West boss Mike Hayes compliments Sony on how they handled the hacking of the PlayStation Network which left PlayStation consumers without any online access for four weeks.
PlayStation had received a ton of slack from consumers and financial analysts for keeping the PlayStation Store down for so long however, Sega proclaims that they support Sony 100% through their biggest challenge yet.
"It could happen to anyone," Hayes said. "We know that can happen to anyone in the legitimate sale of intellectual property."
What's Sega's protection against hackers? They hired notorious hackers in Eastern Europe. Microsoft also hired a hacker who ran a phishing scam in Modern Warfare 2.
Perhaps this should be the next step for Sony in order to fight against the hackers. But in the meantime, we'll just have to wait and see.
