With the release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Nintendo's new console was finally able to knock the PlayStation Portable off its perch in Japan.
The Nintendo 3DS managed to shift 40,649 units last week, while the PSP managed to sell only 31,741 units. What's ironic though, is that the top selling game of the week wasn't Zelda 3DS, it was a PSP game from Level-5.
Only two other 3DS titles made it into the Top 20, those being Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D and One Piece Unlimited Cruise Specials. The PSP had five titles on the list.
