Bethesda Keeping Skyrim Hardcore, No Dumbing Down

Bethesda believe that they don't need to try and dumb down Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in order to cater for a larger audience and achieve big sales.

"Honestly, [making the game more accessible is] not something that we think about a lot, in that we've found that we're getting a pretty big audience making a game that we want to make," said Todd Howard, the game's design director.

The studio will taking steps to remove some of the "confusion" from previous Elder Scrolls titles though, such as making the menus a bit more easy to navigate.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim released on 11.11.11 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Why not pre-order the title now (UK, US)?
