Carpe Fulgur, the company well-known for their translation and extreme success of Recettear, was originally going to release their next title, Chantelise, back in April. After some slight delays the company has announced the finalized release date alongside a demo for the game.
The game is a third-person action adventure game in which two sisters, Chante and Elise, are out to find a witch whose curse turned Chante into a fairy. It plays like a typical hack-and-slash game, similarly to well-known games such as those in the Ys series, except that you "level up" by upgrading your equipment as you progress through the game.
The demo for the game, the full version of which will be released on July 29 on Steam, GamersGate and other PC digital distribution centers, can be found here.
