Mega Man Legends 3 was recently scrapped by Capcom, but there may be a glimmer of hope yet as CyberConnect2 CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama has expressed interest in working on the fan-collaborated project.

Presently, CC2 is partnered with Capcom for Asura's Wrath, as well as Namco Bandai for two new Naruto games and Solatorobo. When asked if there were other Capcom titles he'd like to work on, Matsuyama said, "it would be Mega Man Legends 3," professing that he "really [likes] the series."

The question remains, will Capcom let the man revive the project? He'll be a hero among many. What do you say? Leave a comment below if you'd like to see MML3 revived by CC2.
