EA's John Riccitiello has told stockholders that the company won't be pursing many 3D ventures any more, as they aren't benefiting the company from a financial perspective.

"We see really high returns in these markets and very poor returns focusing on 3D, so we are allocating our resources toward new innovations," said Riccitiello.

Riccitiello also went on to say that the Nintendo 3DS could be struggling because of its 3D element - mainly because of all the negativity its brought with it about causing illness.
