Things have soured between Namco Bandai and CD Projekt RED after the Polish publisher/developer decided to use THQ as the distributor for the upcoming Xbox 360 release of The Witcher 2.
Namco Bandai published the PC version and feel they deserve to be publishing the Xbox 360 version as well. They also believe CD Projekt RED broke their agreement by removing the game's DRM.
"I hope that the whole thing will end with a pre-litigation settlement," said CD Projekt RED CEO Adam Kicinski. "If it doesn't, I am sure that we will win the case and then the loser will pay for our lawyers."
The Xbox 360 version of the game is due out towards the end of this year.
