Nintendo President Satoru Iwata revealed tonight that an upcoming firmware update for the 3DS will enable the device to record 3D videos. The update will be made available this November.
The 3DS is presently only capable of snapping 3D images, with the addition of recording videos in 3D it looks like Nintendo is set on actually pushing the handheld's glasses-less 3D technology.
Details on the firmware update other than a release window were scarce. However, the update will supposedly add more content to the StreetPass Mii Plaza as well.
