Namco Bandai have announced that development on Ace Combat: Assault Horizon has finished and that the team has shifted focus to downloadable content planned for future releases. The game will be treated to plenty of post-launch DLC extras, teasing the content with a trailer showcasing the skylines of Tokyo, Japan.
The multiplayer map is just one of many new planned locations, including Hawaii. Namco Bandai revealed that in addition to maps, fans can also expect new aircraft skins, as well as new aircraft themselves, including the ASF-X Shinden II and CFA-44 Nosferatu, Su-37 Terminator, Tornado GR.4, AV-8B Harrier II Plus, YF-23 Black Widow II, F-15S/MTD and the Ka-50 Hokum.
Ace Combat: Assault Horizon is out October 11 in North America and October 14 in Europe on both PS3 and Xbox 360. Namco Bandai have released plenty of new screenshots as well which you can see over at the official Ace Combat Facebook page.
