Summer is almost over and the school year is just starting for a lot of people so it'd be understandable if you have a craving for blood of some kind. Luckily, the Assassin's Creed Revelations Multiplayer Beta has just opened up today for everyone on PSN to get a taster of a hidden blade murdering spree!

The beta was originally opened on 3rd September to PlayStation Plus subscribers or anyone who have previous used Ubisoft's Uplay service on their PS3 and will continue to run through until Sunday 11th, so make sure to put aside some time in your schedule to play a few rounds before it slips back into the shadows.

There are three available maps: Knight's Hospital, Antioch and Constantinople which are said to allow for much more diverse gameplay and strategy than the previous Brotherhood multiplayer mode. The game modes that you can play feature the returning favourites of Wanted and Manhunt with two new ones called Deathmatch and Artifact Assault, which from the titles alone suggest Free-for-all and a Capture the Flag type gameplays. On top of this, there are nine characters to try out, each with entirely customisable ability sets.

If you find yourself unable to wait for the release of Assassin's Creed Revelations on 15th November, then hop in on this while you still have the chance!
