Nintendo's investors have reacted poorly to Nintendo's 3DS 3DS showcase which took place in Tokyo last night as share prices have fallen by five percent.
Nintendo gave release dates numerous new Mario titles, such as Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7, while also giving more information about the new circle pad peripheral. However, investors felt the line-up was poor.
Many analysts believe that Investors are unconvinced with Nintendo's ability to retain the gamers they brought into the market. "Nintendo succeeded by pulling in people who weren't gamers and their needs now are no longer being filled by Nintendo, they are happy playing games on their mobile phones," said Mitsushige Akino, chief fund manager for Ichiyoshi Investment.
Other analysts were calling for Nintendo to seriously consider their position within the handheld market, but it doesn't look like that will happen any time soon.
