Retailer Hikes Dead Island Price Following Demand

Following massive demand for Dead Island, which has seen publisher Deep Silver ship out two million copies, UK retailer GAME has upped the price of the game as stock runs low.

When the game released, it was retailing for £39.99 at GAME and Gamestation, but it's now retailing for £47.99 because the level of demand has been so high.

MCV has reported that GAME and Gamestation have both sold out of the Xbox 360 version of the game, and stock for the PS3 and PC versions are running low.
