Sony have revealed that their first PlayStation Certified tablet is scheduled for release this month. The Sony Tablet S weighs in at 1.3 pounds and touts a 9.4 inch touchscreen with 1GB RAM, WI-FI and even optional 3D. Shaped like a folded magazine, it comes in two models: a $500 16GB model and a $600 32GB model.
The tablet will ship together with free digital copies of Crash Bandicoot and Pinball Heroes. In addition, it can also be used to access the PlayStation Store to purchase and download music, videos and other PlayStation Certified titles.
Come November, the Sony Tablet P will be next out the pipeline. The foldable tablet features dual 5.5 inch touchscreen displays, 512MB RAM, 4GB on-board storage, WI-FI and 3G connectivity.
