Square Enix Registers Final Fantasy XIII-3 Domain

The company that Square Enix uses for its domain name acquisition has just purchased a rather curious new domain: www.finalfantasyxiii-3.com.

While this of course means nothing as we've had no official announcement or heard anything about a rumoured sequel to Final Fantasy XIII-2, nothing seems impossible in the realm of Square Enix right now.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is due out in January in the Western world, but could this be the first time we see a third installment into a numbered Final Fantasy game?
