Batman: Arkham City publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has revealed that the 'Batman VIP Pass,' an equivalent to EA and THQ's Online Pass, will unlock the playable Catwoman story and challenge missions for owners of previously owned copies of the game.
There are four scenes where players can play as Catwoman. The character is also available in the Challenge Mode of the game. Without the pass, which comes packed in all new copies of the game, Catwoman will still appear in the story, but will not be playable. That said, her missions are not essential to completing Batman: Arkham City.
The pass will cost 800 Microsoft Points or £7.99 on PSN, presumably $9.99 for North America. Batman: Arkham City will be out next week on October 18 in North America and October 21 in Europe for PS3 and Xbox 360. Unfortunately, the PC version has been delayed.
