In a statement today Nintendo has finally given eager 3DS fans the chance to catch them all, slapping an October 24 release date on the handheld's forthcoming Pokémon Rumble Blast.
Nintendo confirmed that the 3DS' first Pokémon title would be released this October with a $34.99 RRP. Taking an alternative route to most Pokémon titles, the game will be set in "Toyland," seeing players take on the role of toy Pokémon "as they navigate a series of imaginative levels."
According to Nintendo the game will feature more than 600 collectible toy Pokémon and feature new Team Battle and Charge Battle modes.
"There's never been a better time to discover the boundless fun of Pokémon," commented Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing on the new title. "As the first Pokémon game for Nintendo 3DS, Pokémon Rumble Blast invites newcomers and veterans to experience action-packed battles with Toy Pokémon in 3D, whether they're playing solo or with a friend."
