The head of Sledgehammer Games, who're working on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 alongside Infinity Ward, has stated that there is a mutual respect between themselves and DICE.
"There's definitely a mutual respect at the development level," said Glen Schofield. "The guys at DICE are great, they've made great games over the years and I think they have the same respect for us. We need to make a better game for the fans."
Schofield also distanced himself from the war of words that's been taking place between executives at EA and Activision by saying "I don't particularly like all the stuff that's going on - but I tune it out."
Both games are due out within the next month, as Battlefield 3 looks to take away some of Modern Warfare's market share.
