Square Enix Talks About Final Fantasy XIII-2's New Game Plus

Square Enix has revealed information on how Final Fantasy XIII-2's new game plus will intertwine with the game's Historia Crux feature allowing players to replay certain areas with their powerful characters.

After you beat the game, which reportedly will take about 30-40 hours, the game will resume to the point just before the final boss inside the Historia Crux. With the multiple endings, this may prove useful to gamers who wish to view them all.

Square Enix also spoke a bit about FFXIII-2's downloadable content saying that a new piece of DLC will be released every 2 weeks until some time in Spring 2012. DLC will include monsters you can then use in battle, ones that you will not, and costumes for the two lead characters.

Keep a look out for Final Fantasy XIII-2 when it releases February 3rd in Europe.
