Although there are plenty of skeptics out there, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot believes wholeheartedly that the Wii U is not nearly as bad as many people make it out to be.
"We are supporting the machine because we believe Nintendo is going to push it to another level. We think [Wii U] will be successful," said Guillemot when speaking to Gamasutra.
The CEO stated that the reasons he believes in the Wii U are one, because they will be able to produce High Definition games whose graphical quality will more than likely match the PS3 and Xbox 360, and two, because of all the potential the Wii U has for more casual games.
Ubisoft have been a strong supporter of new hardware and although they have high-end franchises such as Assassin's Creed, 45 percent of their business comes from games like Just Dance 3.
