Kingdom Hearts. Who thought a game that saw Disney characters and Final Fantasy favourites in the same game would work? Well, whoever thought it would was right "“ the series quickly built up a dedicated following and a cluster of positive reviews, and shows no signs of fading away. The previously announced Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance for 3DS, as reported at Andriasang, finally has an official website. All navigation buttons are in English but, oddly (and frustratingly for us English speakers), all the actual information is only available in Japanese.
There's still information to be gleaned for those of us ignorant of the language, however. Click through to the World section, and you'll find some screenshots taken from two areas; La CitÃ© des Cloches (which seems to centre on The Hunchback of Notre Dame) and Prankster's Paradise (featuring some Pinocchio characters) if you've missed them previously. There's also some hero and enemy concept art & screenshots to gaze adoringly at, with five blank spaces teasing further reveals at a later date.
Kingdom Hearts 3D is slated for a Spring 2012 release in Japan.
