In OnLive's most recent move to expand onto to new online-enabled devices, the company announced that its cloud streaming service now supports Sony Ericsson's gaming-focused phone, the Xperia Play.
OnLive's service allows users to stream remotely-operated games onto a variety of connected devices. This move is further evidence of the company's commitment to offering its service across mobile devices tablets, televisions, and more.
As mobile devices go, the Xperia Play already offers a D-Pad, buttons, and analog pads, leaving it well-equipped to support the control schemes for OnLive's traditional console-like titles.
Sony made a similar push toward traditional gaming on mobile devices earlier this week, when it released released a firmware update to its Tablet S device that allows players to play downloadable PlayStation 1 games with the PS3's DualShock 3 controllers.
