The King of Fighters XIII Coming To EVO 2012

Are you a hardcore fan of last year's The King of Fighters XIII and want to showcase your skills to the world? You might just get your chance as Atlus has just announced that the game is official part of the EVO Championship Series 2012 roster, along with the news that both pieces of new DLC are now available on PSN and Xbox Live.

The King of Fighters XIII is the latest entry in the long-running The King of Fighters franchise. Many of the fan-favorite characters, such as Mai who was surprisingly absent in KoF XII, will be available as well as the just recently announced Billy Kane from the Fatal Fury franchise who is exclusive to the console port.

Since the game's release Atlus has released a bevy of DLC for the title. First was the Iori with the Power of Flames DLC. The publisher has since then followed up with DLC characters NESTS Style Kyo and fan favorite Mr. Karate. The latter is available on PSN for $4.99 and on XBL for 400 MSP, whereas the latter is slightly discounted at $2.99 on PSN due to an issue which postponed the DLC on that platform.
