Remedy Entertainment has announced that the PC version of Alan Wake will be releasing on Steam in just a few weeks time, with a boxed version releasing in the future.
Remedy were keen to promote that this version of Alan Wake is enhanced compared to the one that released on the Xbox 360 in 2010. It'll feature higher resolution texture, but will obviously feature controls for the PC and mouse too, although you can use an Xbox 360 controller if you'd prefer.
You'll also be able to play the game in full 3D using either AMD Eyefinity 3-screen 3D or NVIDIA's NVISION2 Sterescopic 3D. The game will also be able to take advantage of quad-core processors for improved performance.
To sweeten the deal, the PC version will also come with "The Writer" and "The Signal" packaged in - these releases as downloadable content packs on the Xbox 360 version of the game.
