Reports have emerged suggesting Capcom's highly anticipated tale of vengeance, Asura's Wrath has been delayed.
According to Eurogamer, Capcom has confirmed that the game won't be released until 9 March. Asura's Wrath was originally meant to be released on 24 February. Capcom representatives reportedly cited "uncertainty of the UK retail market" as the reason for the delay.
The news was subsequently taken to refer the the ongoing troubles suffered by specialist retailer GAME, which as well as an ongoing poor financial performance was recently speculated as suffering from stock shortages.
Made by CyberConnect 2, Aura's Wrath will see players take on the role of the demigod Asura in his quest to avenge his wife's death. At the time of writing Capcom had not responded to Gaming Union's requests for confirmation of Eurogamer's report.
