EA has released a new trailer for the upcoming Mass Effect 3, which they're using to promote FemShep Friday - something they hope will bring more attention to the fact you can indeed play Shepard as a female.
As shown in the new trailer, Female Shepard is every bit as much of a badass as her male equivalent. There's plenty of explosions, harsh words and fighting and general action. In other words, it's a trailer that showcases the game's blockbuster potential - there's even dramatic slow motion.
Female Shepard has often been overshadowed in favour of Male Shepard, with many players opting not to change away from the default. However, for this iteration EA has promised to give the female version more exposure. This is great news for Jennifer Hale, the character's voice actress, as it means more people get to hear her harsh tones as they're battling against the Reapers in order to save the galaxy.
Be sure to check out the trailer for yourself below. Mass Effect 3 releases on the 6th of March in North America on all three of the major platforms for the first time. Europeans will be able to get their hands on it only a few days later as this dramatic trilogy comes to an end.
