Rumour: Mass Effect & Final Fantasy Collide In FFXIII-2 DLC Collaboration

A couple of Mass Effect developers may not have had the nicest things to say about JRPG franchise Final Fantasy, but the two may be working together on special downloadable content for Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIII-2.

A source tells Japanese gaming specialist site Siliconera that Electronic Arts and Square Enix have secured a deal to provide FFXIII-2 time travellers with some nifty Mass Effect armour designed just for the game. This is just a guess, but red, white and black will likely be the colour scheme, and the N7 crest will be in there somewhere.

This in addition to the plethora of alternate costumes available for FFXIII-2's main protagonists, from beachwear to outfits designed by a member from a popular Japanese dance group. No confirmation on whether this is real or not yet, but Siliconera's sources have been known to be very reliable.
