THQ haven't been having the best of times recently, so they've gone on the offensive and outlined their plan for the next two years. They've also ditched their kids games to focus purely on the hardcore gamer, and here are what they've got in store.
For the calendar year of 2012, THQ will be bringing UFC Undisputed 3 (Feb 2012), Darksiders II (June 2012), South Park: The Game (Fall 2012) and WWE 13 (Fall 2012). However, it's what comes afterwards that should get everyone licking their lips.
The first quarter of 2013 will see the release of Itagaki's Devil's Third and Metro: Last Light. This will then be followed throughout 2013 by inSANE from Guillermo del Toro, Homefront 2 from Crytek and Patrice Desilet's first title since leaving Ubisoft.
This is just the titles that have been announced two. THQ also stated that they currently have seven unannounced titles in development, two of which will release either this year, or towards the start of 2013.
Despite their problems, THQ has reaffirmed their commitment to the hardcore gamer, especially with the talent they've recruited. Here's hoping they can stay around long enough for us to see what the future holds.
