Mojang has managed to reach a settlement with Zenimax/Bethesda following the lawsuit that erupted over Mojang's decision to call their second game Scrolls. They will be able to continue using the name.
Bethesda claimed the name was too similar to their own series, The Elder Scrolls and that there would be confusion among consumers because of this.
"We have settled the lawsuit over Scrolls and Mojang and Bethesda are friends again," said Mojang's managing director Carl Manneh. "To answer the big question - yes Scrolls is still going to be called Scrolls."
As part of the deal, Mojang gave Bethesda the trademark for Scrolls and they aren't allowed to make a competitor to The Elder Scrolls using a similar name.
