Disney has confirmed that Junction Point are working on Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of 2 and that it will be releasing on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.
The game has been rumoured before numerous times, with "confirmation" appearing right at the end of 2011 following a leaked newsletter that was sent out to fans.
This time around, the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will, of course, feature high definition graphics, but there will also be full voice acting for all of the cast. They will also take part in musical numbers.
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit will become a playable character in this version of the game, joining Mickey Mouse for drop-in, drop-out co-operative action. Oswald will also be given a voice.
"You can sit down at any time with a friend who is playing as Mickey, and you can take control of Oswald," said Warren Spector, the head of Junction Point. "If you're playing as a single player, Oswald will be there every second of the game. He's not just a multiplayer character. He's a helper, whether you're playing alone or with a friend or family member."
No release date has been mentioned so far, but it should be releasing this year if it's being planned for the Nintendo Wii and not the Nintendo Wii U.
