A user on the official Black Ops forum has taken it upon themselves to leak a ton of information about this year's Call of Duty title, which is believed to be Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
The most important piece of information from the leak is that the game is due to release on the 6th of November, 2012.
While the information was swiftly removed by the forum's moderators, the person doing the leaking was vigilant about the message they were trying to convey by re-posting it.
Aside from the release date, the post detailed a new mode called "Escort". This will be like the classic mode from Counter Strike, except you won't be escorting an AI person, you'll be escorting a human player. It also stated that Drop Zone and Kill Confirmed would return, but Team Defender and Infected would be removed.
The majority of the game's multiplayer functionality will be based on that seen in Modern Warfare 3, with some tweaks. For example, perks can now be upgraded to two different possibilities.
We're sure to find out more about Black Ops 2 as the year progresses, as Activision don't typically reveal anything about the game until closer to E3.
