Sony has lifted the lid on LittleBigPlanet Karting, by officially unveiled the game on the PlayStation Blog alongside the game's first trailer.
United Front games have been drafted into to make LittleBigPlanet Karting, and those who follow Sony exclusives should know that they're the team behind ModNation Racers, which released back in 2010. This could signal the end of ModNation Racers as a main property for Sony.
As expected, LBP Karting will include a ton of customisation, which you'll be able to access from your pod. Media Molecule are going to be helping out, so we can be sure the franchise's roots will be retained, even in this new setting.
According to James Grieve, a senior producer from United Front Games, it's being developed as a PlayStation 3 exclusive, with no plans for a release on the PlayStation Vita at present.
