Square Enix has dated its upcoming multi-platform sandbox game Sleeping Dogs, which was formerly know as True Crime: Hong Kong.
The game was originally meant to be published by Activision, who passed on the game. Square Enix then picked it up and changed the name to Sleeping Dogs.
Due to the combat element, Square Enix has teamed up with George St. Pierre, otherwise known as GSP. He's a well renowned UFC fighter and some of his signature moves will be appearing in the game.
Square Enix has now dated the game to release on the 14th of August, 2012 on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in North America. In Europe, it'll be releasing on the 17th of August.
