The war of words between Activision and EA has continued after a global product manager from EA took to Twitter in order to dismiss the first Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 trailer.
The product manager was Kevin O'Leary, who is currently working on Medal of Honor: Warfighter, the follow-up to the Medal of Honor reboot that appeared in 2010. He said, "Poor blackops2 you look tired, you should take a year off and rest."
O'Leary then went on to big up his own company's games and technology, after stating that this year's E3 should be great with so much competition. "excited about the FPS competition & E3 this year. Medal of Honor Warfighter, Battlefield 3, Frostbite 2...FTW MOH BF3 BlackOps2."
This isn't the first time the two giants of software publishing have squared off against each other and it surely won't be the last. Last year it was Battlefield 3 competing against Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and this year, it's going to be Medal of Honor: Warfighter against Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
However, Warfighter is due to release slightly earlier - could this give EA the necessary advantage as consumers become much tighter with their wallets?
