Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Releasing 'Late June' On PS Vita

Konami has revealed that the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is still planned for release on the PlayStation Vita. In fact, it should arrive at some point during June.

The PS Vita version of the game, which has already released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, will come with a re-worked user interface. There will also be cross-compatibility between the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game.

Despite Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker appearing on the PlayStation Portable and appearing on the home console HD collections, it has been omitted from the PlayStation Vita version. This means the collection on Vita will contain Metal Gear 1, Metal Gear 2, Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3.

When we get a more concrete release date, we'll let you know. Until then though, keep your eyes peeled for more HD Solid Snake action.
