Assassin's Creed III has recently announced that it will offer a season pass for $29.99. The season pass and the game will also be available in a digital bundle on the Playstation Store in the Assassin's Creed III:Gold Edition for $89.99. The season pass will give you access to five downloadable packs and this will grant you a 25% discount as opposed to buying them individually.
Ubisoft has also teased three single player episodic packs called 'Tyranny of King George' included in the season pass. The premise of this will show a post-American Revolution, Washington "succumbs to the temptation of infinite power." You will be the one who has to dethrone the tyrannical king.
The extra content seems to be the most focused towards single player than any others past games in the series. We can assume that the other two packs included will be about the multiplayer such as maps, modes, and characters.
What do you think of Assassin's Creed III taking the season pass method that became popular in 2011? Also does the episodic single player content interest you enough into getting the season pass? Let us know in the comments below.
