At New York Comic Con Capcom surprised us by announcing a brand new Darkstalkers. No Darkstalkers fans this is not the next game in the much beloved 2D monster fighter. Still that doesn't mean that you won't enjoy the newly announced Darkstalkers Resurrection. This title will include both Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3 updated with new features.

Capcom released a trailer after announcing the game today and be warned of the included dubstep.

This bundle will be a downloadable title for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. Resurrection will release in early 2013 for $14.99 and 1200 Microsoft points. The new extras included with each game is extremely similar to Street Fighter 3: Third Strike Online and the recently released Marvel vs Capcom Origins Collection. They will include GGPO online multiplayer with region matching, Youtube/direct server reply uploads, spectator mode, and ping lock.

Additionally, Challenge Mode will be included to serve as an in-depth training mode for players. As always there will be include trophy/achievement support. Finally, Vault mode will be available to unlock concept art in game. So if these sound like the same features from past Capcom HD re-release fighters that is because Iron Galaxy is the developer for this title.
